Arch. Riccardo Giovannetti has designed the Solvay exhibition at the Palazzo Triennale of Milan. Some specific tie rods, tailored created for the ceiling, have permitted the application of installation of clear nylon threads, fixed to some round plane plexiglass with different heights and slopes. The main idea aimed to create floating bubbles in the inner space. The backlit platform, with walkable stained-glass windows positioned in the middle of the exhibition area, focused the attention on the centre of the exhibition room, where a particular play of reflection of the lights, with round plane plexiglass creating an atmosphere with a strong and emotional impact.
