Exhibition of Manerba has been designed by arch. Raffaella Mangiarotti at Palazzo Litta in Milan during Fuorisalone event. The project has requested to realise the structures characterised by different exhibit platforms treated with a particular walkable varnish with sand grains into it, creating shades and highlights of colour. At this event, we have been realized more than 150 plexiglass tubes, with special diameter and rigidity recessed in only 3 cm thickness into the exhibit platforms, welcoming the stems of coloured flowers that reproduced the colours of the exhibit products. The difficulty of realization has been increased by the existing flooring of the historical building, all disconnected, realizing every single custom platform to measure, having to adapt it to a precise position of the flooring surface. The exhibit platforms were not only an exhibition element, but also structural element that had to be accessible to the public, in order to create a visual experience to the visitor.
