Leonardo in the Greenhouse

During the commemoration of centenary of Leonardo Da Vinci’s birth, the exhibit project has been designed by arch. Marco Merendi, positioned at the main courtyard of Università degli Studi of Milan with the collaboration of INTERNI magazine. The project referred to the need of exhibit a faithful reconstruction of the historical lectern of Leonardo, which has been exhibited inside a metal greenhouse, made by Arcade company, with a specially structured wooden platform with a bearing mirror plane, giving the feeling of being suspended in the void. Dichroic films, applied to glass partition walls, gave an effect of light and very suggestive colours that changed during the day due to the external light’s influence.
